The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and sightings cannot be guaranteed. If the aurora forecast is not good, the tour might get canceled. If that happens, you will be offered to reschedule for another date or get a refund for that portion of the tour.
Bad weather can cause other tours to get canceled as well. If that happens we will try our best to help you find another tour. If no replacement tours are available, we will partially refund you for that portion of the trip.
The price for two people traveling together and sharing one twin/double room for three nights in standard accommodation (with private WC) is 96.900 ISK per person.

For the Golden Circle tour, you can add activities to your tour. You can only select one of the activities. The prices are the following:

Make the most of your stopover in Iceland with this 4-day tour package. Visit the most popular attractions Iceland has to offer such as the Golden Circle, the famous South Coast with its black sand beach and magnificent waterfalls. Make a hunt for the northern lights and relax in the Blue Lagoon.
Once you arrive in Iceland, you can either start with a relaxing bath in the Blue Lagoon or go straight to your accommodation Reykjavík, depending on the time of arrival. Then in the afternoon/evening, you can use your free time to explore the capital of Iceland, Reykjavík or do the Northern Lights tour.
You will be picked up from your accommodation or nearest bus stop at 08:30, and head out for your Golden Circle tour.

Þingvellir National Park
The place where the two tectonic plates, the North American and the Eurasian plate, are moving away from each other. Few places in the world offer a better and clearer view of this massive geographic activity. The biggest natural lake in Iceland is also located at Þingvellir National Park and hosts a great variety of fish and bird life. Þingvellir is also an important place for Icelandic national history. At Þingvellir Icelanders founded their parliament in 930 a.d. where the chieftains had their annual meeting every summer. The name “Thingvellir” translates to “Parliament Plains”.
The melting water from Iceland´s second biggest glacier, Langjökull, falls into a deep canyon forming the majestic “Golden Falls”. On a sunny day, you can see the glacier Langjökull in the distance and enjoy a rainbow in the mist of the waterfall, an Instagram blockbuster waiting to happen!
The Geysir geothermal area hosts hundreds of colorful hot springs and two geysers, erupting hot springs. One is called “Geysir” and name giving for all the geysers in the world. Today, however, it erupts very seldom. The other geyser is called “Strokkur” and erupts every 5 minutes up to 40 meters.
Traditional Dairy Farm
Efstidalur farm owned by the same family since 1850. This Icelandic family-run business sticks to traditional Icelandic farming culture and focuses on cows and cattle breeding. You will be able to enjoy their tasty farm-to-table dairy products, see the stunning mountain view and pet the friendly animals. You will be invited to taste the ice cream yourself and meanwhile watch the animals relaxing in the stable.
Faxi waterfall is small, yet stunning waterfall. It is situated in the Tungufljót river, a famous salmon river. Alongside the river, there is a salmon staircase built to extend the salmon areas of the river. During the summer months, fishermen are often seen trying their luck at the waterfall and salmon seen jumping up the staircase.
Kerið volcanic crater
A stunning volcanic crater with a lake in the middle which formed in an eruption 3,000 years ago. Some believe that it was formed in a vast explosion. The more likely theory is that the volcanic cone collapsed into its own magma chamber after the eruption finished. Kerið is the perfect location to learn more about Icelandic geological history and observe a mind-blowing natural wonder.
Once you get back to Reykjavík, you will have about 2,5 hours before the pick-up starts for your Northern Lights tour. Enjoy your northern lights hunt in complete comfort in a small group with a relaxed pace and expert guide who will reveal all there is to know about the beautiful phenomenon that dances across the Icelandic winter sky.

The following sights will be visited during this tour:
The first stop is at Seljalandsfoss which is a beautiful ribbon-like waterfall which drops from an overhanging lava cliff. It is possible to walk behind it, but be prepared to get wet from its drizzle!
Next stop will be at Skógarfoss waterfall which is a 60-meter high waterfall located on the former coastline of the south coast.
Onwards the next stop is at which is part of Mýrdalsjökull Glacier, where you can walk up to the glacier (viewing point). Sólheimajökull is situated between two volcanoes Katla and Eyjafjallajökull. Due to relatively easy access, it’s the most visited glacier in the south of Iceland.
Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach
Next stop is the volcanic black sandy beach of that is famous for its impressive rock formations and caves, black lava beach and high surf of the North Atlantic ocean.
Dyrhólaey is a 120-meter spur of rock and cut into a natural arch by the Atlantic ocean.
The southernmost village in Iceland with for tourism and the locals. The surrounding are quite impressive as the location of the town is in the middle of Katla Geopark offering the breath
Vík is the final stop of the tour before returning back to Reykjavík around 7 pm. Use your free time to explore the city or do the Northern Lights tour.
If you arrived late on day 1, you can use this last day for a relaxing morning at the Blue Lagoon before heading back to the airport.
Otherwise, you will get picked up at your accommodation for your airport transportation.
