Day 1: Welcome to Iceland, Reykjanes Peninsula, Blue Lagoon and Reykjavík

Pick up your car and start exploring right away (if time allows). Visit the less known Reykjanes peninsula (can be done on day 13). You will feel the geothermal activity in this volcanic peninsula. Visit Gunnuhver, Iceland’s largest hot spring, the extraordinary bridge between two continents where you can be in two different continents at the same time!

Day 2: Snæfellsnes peninsula and the center of the earth

Discover beautiful Snæfellsnes peninsula today and explore the Center of the earth, Snæfellsjökull. Make sure you visit Arnarstapi, Hellnar and the rocks in Djúpalónssandur. Visit the most photographed mountain in Iceland, Kirkjufell.

Day 3: Ferry to the west fjords

Leave Snæfellsnes in the morning and travel by ferry in the afternoon to Brjánslækur (duration 3 hrs, ferry not included) with a stop at Flatey Islands. Drive to Látrabjarg bird cliff, the most westerly point of Iceland. Now you are officially in the West Fjords!

Day 4: dynjandi waterfall and charming ísafjörður

Day 5: strandir and the town of witchcraft

Day 6: the capital of the north
